Board advances Southworth capital study to June town meeting

Board of Library Trustees · Meeting of April 14, 2026

Dartmouth library trustees vote to advance Southworth capital study to town meeting. The Board of Library Trustees approved advancing a capital plan feasibility study for Southworth Library to the June town meeting warrant, coordinating space planning with state library officials. The board elected new officers for the fiscal year: Lisa Ann Tufano as chair, Joan Menard as vice-chair, Mary-Ann Cole as recording secretary, and Linda Garibaldi as financial secretary.

A staff member will retire at the end of June after 10 years of service, and the Friends of the Dartmouth Libraries raised over $8,000 from a March yarn and cloth sale.
