DARTMOUTH — Board of Appeals approves dealership variance, extends 40B hearing. The board voted unanimously to grant Variance ZAV-25-14, allowing PRM Auto Holdings LLC to construct an Audi/Volkswagen dealership at 0 State Road with parking setback reduced from 40 feet to 19.5 feet. In a separate action, the board continued Variance ZAV-25-12 for a residential addition at 1 Cleveland Street to February 12, 2026, after the petitioner failed to appear with a revised plan.
The Sherbrooke Farms comprehensive permit hearing (ZCMP-25-2) for a 156-unit rental development at 498 Old Westport Road continued with extensive public testimony on traffic impacts, parking adequacy, and water resource protection. The board extended the decision deadline to May 14, 2026, and scheduled the next hearing for March 16, 2026.
