DARTMOUTH — Board of Appeals approves 56-unit residential apartment at State Road with conditions. Acting Chairman Halim Choubah, P.E. led the unanimous approval of use variance ZAV-25-8 and variance ZAV-25-9, with Chairman Michael Medeiros, Esq. recused. The board heard abutter concerns about aquifer impacts and emphasized that subsequent Planning Board and Conservation Commission review will address buffering, trees, and utilities.
In other action, an Audi-Volkswagen dealership variance (ZAV-25-14) was continued to January 22, a residential addition variance at 1 Cleveland Street was continued to the same date, the 147-unit Residences at Hawthorne comprehensive permit was extended to February 12 pending peer review of stormwater and wastewater infrastructure, and the 300-unit Hathaway project was continued to March 2 after the board authorized Town Administrator Cody Hadad to engage consultants at the developer's expense.
