Board of Appeals continues three major cases; grants zero decisions
Board of Appeals · Meeting of February 12, 2026
Dartmouth Zoning Board of Appeals continued three applications without ruling on any. Use Variance ZAV-25-13 for a contractor dispatch yard at 576 Faunce Corner Road moved to February 26 after Chairman Michael Medeiros, Esq., and Associate Member Dr. Rahim Aghai recused themselves due to conflicts, leaving only Halim Choubah, P.E., and Walter Faria, Esq., present.
Special Permit ZSP-25-6 for a 576-square-foot addition to 8 Bonneau Court continued to March 2 amid board concerns that the lot is too small and the project may exceed floodplain substantial-improvement thresholds. Comprehensive Permit ZCMP-25-1 for The Residences at Hawthorne--a 147-unit development with 37 affordable units on 56.3 acres at 970 Tucker Road--continued to March 23 pending resolution of approximately 11,000 dollars in outstanding peer-review consultant invoices, detailed waiver determinations, and traffic and stormwater analysis.
