DARTMOUTH — Board of Parks and Recreation tabled a decision on dog park access fees after Community Preservation Committee raised public-access concerns. Director Rebecca Amaral reported smooth summer programming with 3,000 concession customers and approximately 15,000 Bucket orders; the Concert Series proved successful and most bands plan to return next year. The department is seeking Capital Improvement Planning approval for a new vehicle to replace its 19-year-old van due to mechanical issues.
Parks and Recreation is coordinating with Assistant Superintendent James Kiely on a split arrangement for DYAA and DGAL basketball scheduling, with a planned full school-department transition in Fall 2027.
