Budget Advisory Group elects officers, outlines FY27 budget review

Dartmouth Budget Advisory Group names officers, sets FY27 budget review agenda. The group elected Christopher O'Neil chairman and Brian O'Hare vice chairman on a 7-0-0 vote. Town Administrator Cody Haddad and Director of Budget and Finance Gary Carreiro outlined FY27 budget pressures including a projected 15 percent health insurance cost increase and a nearly 10 percent pension assessment rise.
The School Department's Atlas Program will expand to 14 students next year, with the department proposing a new job coaching position.
