Commission approves dock extension with permanent no-renewal clause
Conservation Commission · Meeting of February 10, 2026
Dartmouth Conservation Commission grants final dock extension with permanent closure clause. The commission voted unanimously to permit Davis & Tripp, Inc. a one-year extension for waterfront dock and slip maintenance at 1 Bridge Street, ending a permit line dating to 1986 by stipulating no further extensions will be permitted. In related business, the commission approved an Order of Conditions for Nicholas Pleiss's garage addition at 46 Lakeside Avenue with special flood-vent requirements.
Five major development cases were continued for further review, including significant neighborhood opposition to a proposed new home at 80 Horseneck Road. The commission also advanced revised wetland regulations to a public hearing on February 24, 2026. ===BRIEF===
