Dartmouth Community Preservation Committee votes to appropriate $1.5 million for new agricultural preservation fund. The vote was 7-0 with one abstention to establish an Agricultural Preservation Fund, administered by the Dartmouth Agricultural Commission. The new fund will enable timely preservation of farmland as opportunities arise; the original Agricultural Preservation Trust, established in the late 1990s, was fully expended.
The Committee also approved the FY2027 administrative budget of $35,000 after hearing five proposals requesting $5.8 million.
