CPC scheduled March hearing on five CPA funding proposals
Community Preservation Committee · Meeting of February 10, 2026
Dartmouth CPC schedules March 10 public hearing on five CPA funding proposals. The Community Preservation Committee reviewed five applications in February totaling slightly over $4 million: DCTV facility improvements, DYAA field lighting at Crapo Field, conversion of the former Southworth Library into a Cultural Center, Davoll Field open space preservation, and establishment of an Agricultural Preservation Fund. Rather than making final recommendations, the committee compiled detailed questions across all proposals that applicants will address at the public hearing.
Chairperson Howard Baker-Smith noted the CPC has approximately $5.7 million in available funds: $4.7 million in reserves and $1 million in projected FY27 revenue. The committee approved payment of $2,500 to Studio2Sustain for Cultural Center design services.
