Library trustees approve 2026 closure schedule
Board of Library Trustees · Meeting of January 13, 2026
Dartmouth Board of Library Trustees approves 2026 holiday schedule and computer upgrades. The trustees unanimously approved the 2026 holiday calendar, closing both Southworth and North Branch libraries on July 3-4 and June 19-20. The board also unanimously approved a $6,638.04 purchase for six North Branch staff computers, to be completed by month's end.
Trustees declined a request from Lamb of God Christian Church to use the library parking lot for food pantry operations, citing safety concerns and the library's no-rental policy. The Friends of Dartmouth Libraries plan a yarn and fabric sale in March and another book sale in April.
