She was predeceased by her parents Antone and Josephine Medeiros; her daughter Candy Marie Souza; and her siblings Gary, Arnold, David Medeiros, and Judy Galego. She is survived by her children Rowena Luiz, Russell Luiz (Judith), and Manuel Luiz (Sherrie); her grandchildren Margaret, Russell Luiz, Jay Souza, Roger Medeiros Jr., and Katie Ann Luiz; her great grandchild Lilith Marie Souza; and her siblings Joyce Balestracci, Joan Mendoza, Elaine Silvia, Antone, Joseph, Brian, and Barry Medeiros. Visitation is scheduled for Monday, June 29th 2026, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Perry Funeral Home (111 Dartmouth St, New Bedford, MA 02740), with a funeral service at 12:30 PM at the same location; burial to follow at South Dartmouth Cemetery (507 Elm St, South Dartmouth, MA 02748). Memorial donations may be made to Buzzards Bay Area Habitat for Humanity Ramp Donation Program in honor of Eleanor Luiz, per the family's wishes.
