Parks board approves $263,140 community park resurfacing

DARTMOUTH — Parks board approves $263,140 playground resurfacing bid. The Parks and Recreation Board unanimously authorized a $263,140 contract with Rubberecycle for Community Park playground resurfacing. Town Administrator Cody Haddad informed the board that a proposed Facilities Supervisor position has been withdrawn due to financial constraints and will be revisited in the next couple of years.
Director Rebecca Amaral reported that Recreation operations have relocated to the former library building across from the police station, with Eversource providing lighting upgrades within the coming months.
