Dartmouth Planning Board defers zoning amendments pending state action. The Planning Board voted unanimously to withdraw Article 24 bylaw amendments from the warrant after town counsel advised waiting for the Legislature's decision on the proposed MassWinds bill, which would establish the first statewide site-plan-review framework. If enacted, all communities will need to comply with new statewide standards, potentially making Dartmouth's proposed local amendments obsolete or conflicting.
The board approved a 2026 summary for the warrant and agreed to revisit the amendments in the fall if the state bill does not pass. Officer elections for 2026-2027: Chair Lorri-Ann Miller, Vice Chair Helio Rosa, Clerk Kevin Estes.
