Dartmouth recorded 70 property deeds between July 24 and Aug. 22, though only 27 had a sale price recorded, ranging from $175,000 to $2,165,000 with a median of $557,000. The period's top sale was 3 Rockland St, which sold for $2,165,000 on July 30; Rockland Street logged four deeds total, tying Smith Neck Road for the most active street. More than half of all recorded deeds involved a seller and buyer sharing a surname or the same person on both sides, a pattern consistent with trust and family transfers rather than open-market sales, which helps explain the low rate of recorded prices across the dataset.
