Dartmouth School Committee approves FY27 budget supported by $178,309 from kindergarten stabilization fund. The Committee voted unanimously to elect Mary Beckwith as Chair, John Nunes as Vice Chair, and Dr. June Saba-Maguire as Secretary.
In related action, the board unanimously approved the 2026 Summer Sports Camp and Dig Green Volleyball Camp, as well as the SMEC lease of classroom and office space at district schools; rental fees increased 3 percent under the renewed arrangement. Chairperson Coughlin warned that structural deficits will require additional revenue solutions within two years as school choice funding diminishes.
