Dartmouth Select Board approves four conservation restrictions on combined 37.59 acres. Chair Heidi Silva Brooks and board members voted unanimously to protect Knight Front Field and Knight North Lot on Barneys Joy Road, the 15.1-acre Cornell parcel on Tucker Road, and Little River Farm on Little River Road, with the Buzzard's Bay Coalition presenting the parcels for long-term agricultural and wildlife preservation. The Board also appointed Dr.
James Griffith to the Board of Health, approved a three-year lease extension for the Dartmouth Historical and Arts Society at the Old Russells Mills library, and authorized a contract amendment allowing Deputy Police Chief Victor Morency to participate in private duty details. The estimated Fiscal Year 27 tax levy stands at 84,543,475 dollars, with residential property values increasing 6.11 percent in the current year.
