Conservation · Meeting of October 6, 2026
Dartmouth's Conservation Commission approved three ADU-related wetlands permits and continued a long-pending car dealership review for a sixth month. Commissioner Elizabeth DiPaolo presided over the State Road dealership hearing after Chair Michael Kehoe recused himself; the panel pushed that case to Nov. 17, with Director of Environmental Affairs Jennifer Miller noting the delay gives "six weeks of total time" for peer review. Engineer Sean Leach won 4-0 approval, with Kehoe abstaining, for a septic repair at 881 Fisher Road that had been tied up in prior litigation.
The commission also issued orders of conditions for new accessory dwelling units at 8 Featherbed Lane, 3 Shirley Street and 706 Elm Street, and reported roughly 60 applicants for a long-vacant administrative post.
